Through ORRganized Events, Amy Orr specializes in association and non-profit event planning and association management. From educational conferences, to golf tournaments, to fundraising events and outdoor public events, her experience will help make your event planning a seamless process. Long term client relationships - several continuing 10+ years - have strengthened association events and memberships.
With over 20 years of experience in the professional meeting planning industry, Amy Orr has planned events ranging from 30 - 10,000 people. Prior to establishing her own event planning business in 2007, Amy served as Director of Meetings and Events at the California Chamber of Commerce for five years.
Amy is experienced in site and venue selection, hotel negotiations, contract analysis, event marketing, and logistics coordination. Amy became a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) in 2005 and has been an active member of Meeting Professionals International since 2001. She served on the board of the Sacramento/Sierra Nevada Chapter of Meeting Professionals International from 2005 - 2007 and 2020 - 2022.
SR. EVENT MANAGER
Carissa has over fifteen years of event experience spanning from large scale events to fundraising. She began her career with Pebble Beach Resorts planning the AT&T Pro-Am and doing prep work for the US Open 2010. After returning to her hometown in Chico, she continued working in the events field as an Events Director for Canyon Oaks Country Club, followed by a position as the Marketing & Fundraising Coordinator for Enloe Medical Center. She joined the ORRganized Events team in 2018 as an account associate supporting events and communications for clients.
PROGRAM MANAGER
Samantha came to ORRganized Events with over 9 years of project management experience with a large healthcare company. She also served on a local board for several years as treasurer handling multiple fundraising events. Since joining the ORRganized Events team in 2021, she has worked on in person and hybrid events ranging from 100-850 attendees handling registrations, tech support support and accounts receivable. She also oversees membership services and an annual sponsorship program and fulfillment. Her attention to detail makes her a perfect fit for managing finances, registration fees, and member support for our clients.
